After 14 years in the mobile phone business, beset maker
Blackberry has announced that it is no longer going to plan its own
smartphones.
BlackBerry has it plans to stop making its own smartphones,
and will outsource the job in its place. The struggling Canadian smartphone
maker has announce the move during the update of its quarter result.
The company, which is famous for its "Qwerty"
keyboard mobile phones that be the choice handset for professional, has been fraught
to keep up with market leaders Apple and Samsung as the world has motivated to
touchscreens.
As a result, the loss-making business believed it is going
to focus on creating software for mobile phones, rather than the devices
themselves. Instead, it will farm out the brand to other manufacturers.
