India to open new consulate in Seattle
News in Delhi :Prime Minister
Narendra Modi with U.S. President Barack Obama, during a assembly at the Oval
Office of the White House, in Washington on Tuesday. In a joint report issued
after the Modi-Obama talks, India spoken hope to open a new Indian embassy in
Seattle.
India will soon open
its sixth legation in Seattle to cater to the needs of great number of
Indian-Americans living in the northwestern part of the U.S.
“We hope to open a new Indian legation in Seattle,” Indian
Foreign Typist S. Jaishankar said afterward the assumption of the talks between
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.S. President Barack Obama at the White
House.
